WOMEN’s FORUM (FLORIDA)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Committee Formation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Committee of the World Malayalee Council Florida Province Women\u2019s Forum was officially selected and finalized on February 23, 2024. This marked the beginning of a focused and collaborative effort toward women\u2019s empowerment, community service, and cultural engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WMC AR Region Biennial Conference \u2013 April 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first major program of the newly formed forum was the WMC American Region Biennial Conference, held in Orlando on April 5 and 6, 2024. The Florida Province Women\u2019s Forum participated with great enthusiasm and played an active role in the event\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inaugural Ceremony \u2013 June 1, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official inauguration of the Florida Province Women\u2019s Forum was held virtually via Zoom on June 1, 2024. During the ceremony, all Executive Members participated in the Oath-Taking Ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Dr. Anjali Mohan, Oncology Department, RCC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The event was well-organized and attended by a large audience. The occasion also included a celebration of Mother\u2019s Day, adding to its significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Acknowledgment of Support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All programs and initiatives of the Florida Province Women\u2019s Forum were made possible through the constant support and encouragement of the WMC American Regional Executives and Global Leaders of the World Malayalee Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to them for their guidance, cooperation, and continued support at every step of our journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Charity Initiative<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In keeping with our mission of community service, the forum raised funds to support Anakha, a young girl from Thiruvalla, in completing her tuition fees. The donation was personally delivered in India by Executive Member Mrs. Prabha Mathew, reflecting the forum\u2019s commitment to meaningful action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Virtual Engagement & Program Planning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To ensure consistent collaboration, the forum conducted several Zoom meetings throughout the year. These virtual sessions were instrumental in planning, organizing, and executing programs, while helping to maintain strong communication and team spirit among members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Celebrations & Participation in Cultural Events<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Florida Province Women\u2019s Forum celebrated the birthdays of all Executive Members and major festivals such as Onam, Christmas, and Republic Day through the online platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      International Women\u2019s Day was celebrated virtually via Zoom, with a well-attended and dynamic program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The event celebrated women\u2019s achievements and reaffirmed the forum\u2019s mission to uplift and empower women globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The WMC Florida Province Women\u2019s Forum has had a remarkable and inspiring year, filled with impactful initiatives, cultural unity, and meaningful service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        With the continued support of the WMC American Region Executives, Global Leadership, and our dedicated team, we eagerly look forward to many more milestones and enriching opportunities in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
