The WMC Women’s Forum continues to champion education and financial empowerment as core pillars of its mission. Highlights from this period include:
- ₹50,000 granted to a single-parent nursing student, helping her complete her final year of studies.
- ₹1,00,000 donated to a girl in India who lost her father to kidney failure, supporting her marriage .
- ₹25,000 contributed to a remote school in Palakkad, India, for essential infrastructure such as desks, benches, uniforms, and supplies.
- ₹50,000 awarded to a student , easing financial strain and supporting her academic growth.
2. Healthcare & Disability Support
In its commitment to compassion and care, the forum extended health-related aid to individuals and institutions in need:
- Monthly support of ₹10,000 providing to a paralyzed individual in India, covering physiotherapy, medication, and housing expenses for one year.
- ₹20,000 donated to Snehalaya Old Age Home, Kerala, contributing to the well-being and comfort of senior residents.
3. Awareness & Empowerment Seminars
Promoting knowledge-sharing and skill-building, the forum conducted a range of impactful seminars and workshops:
- Parenting & Childhood Development Seminar – Led by Dr. Suja Koshy, offering expert guidance on child development and parenting strategies.
- AI in Healthcare Seminar – Delivered by Dr. Jaypal, a neurosurgeon from India, highlighting innovations in medical technology using AI.
- Self-Grooming & Saree Draping Workshop – Conducted by Preethi Susan Alexander, makeup artist at Daffodils Makeup Studio, Kozhencherry, Kerala, focusing on self-care, presentation skills, and cultural elegance.
