World Malayalee Council (WMC) is a charitable, not for profit, non-sectarian global ethnic  organization of Malayalees. WMC has a three-tier organizational structure with a global  council, six regional councils (America, Europe, Middle East, Far East and Australia, India  and Africa) and more than fifty provincial councils functioning in over 40 countriesProvinces can form units under them, and several such units have been formed under the  Provinces in Kerala to extend the benefits of WMC. 

WMC was formed on July 3, 1995, on the last day of the first World Malayalee Convention  in New Jersey USA. WMC serves as a dynamic platform for training, empowerment,  service, support, and charity while nurturing cultural heritage and fostering collaboration.  The organization’s primary mission is to provide a non-political forum that brings together  the diverse and widely dispersed Malayalee community, strengthening the bonds of  culture, tradition, and shared values. With the installation of its bylaws, the founding  members of the organization were dissolved, and the organization was presented to the  world as a networking organization for Malayalees across the globe. Subsequent biennial  conferences were held in Kochi, Kerala in January 1998; Dallas, Texas, USA in 2000;  Dingden, Germany in 2002; Bahrain, in 2004; Kochi, Kerala in 2006; Singapore in 2008;  Doha, Qatar in 2010; Dallas, Texas in 2012, Kumarakam, Kochi in 2014, Colombo, Srilanka  in 2016, Bonn, Germany in 2018, Bahrain in 2022 and Trivandrum, Kerala in 2024..  

WMC provides a global connectivity fostering friendship and fellowship among Malayalees  worldwide while providing several platforms under its umbrella for training, empowerment,  service, support, and charity. 

WMC Logo is trademarked in USA, Europe, UK, Russia, Oman, UAE, Singapore, Canada,  Australia, India, and Philippines. 

Over 45 Provinces across the global and Units in every Districts in Kerala. WMC has a Women’s Forum and Youth Forum as its official organ. 

Also, have Health & Medical Forum, Arts and Cultural Forum, Business Forum, NRK Forum,  Legal Forum, Tourism Forum etc. each having its own activities for the benefit of Malayalee  diaspora.
